QuestSounds - version 901-2020.10.14QuestSounds is a small addon to give audio cues on the following events: you complete a quest
you complete an objective of a quest
you gain progress on one of the objectives of a quest
Each of these events will cause a distinct sound to be played (only the 'highest ranked' of these sounds will play, of course)The idea for this addon was inspired by MonkeyQuest's quest completionsounds; I wanted to have that feature without having to load that fulladdon, as most other features of MonkeyQuest are now provided by blizzard'sbuilt-in objectives tracker.My goal is to keep this addon small. This has the following implications: There is only little configuration flexibility, via commandline instructions (see below)
The sounds are sounds that are sounds that are embedded in the game, they are not external sound files.
There is no localization support. As far as I can see, the addon will work in other languages as well, but the feedback messages will be printed in english and the commands are in english.
Known problems: This addon is only updated for retail WoW; I don't play Classic, sorry
The sounds may not play the first time they should play (if they aren't cached yet).
For some quests the wrong 'rank' of sound may play (e.g. the objective complete sound when the quest complete sound should play)
If multiple quests change status simultaneously the wrong sound may play. This is particularly noticable if you are on the quest "Test your Strength", the monthly Darkmoon faire quest to collect Grisly Trophies.
Configuration:There are a few configuration commands available via the "/qsnd" command ("/questsounds" is an alias for "/qsnd"). Sorry - no graphical configuration yet.There are a few "sound sets" built in that you can choose between. In this version you can switch between these via: /qsnd set gong
/qsnd set wacky
/qsnd set creatures
/qsnd set peons(New in version 2014.11.01)
The 'wacky' set is the default in this version. (In the previous versionthe 'gong' set was the default, but those sounds stand out less from the usual soundscape)You can test the sounds via the "/qsnd test" command: /qsnd test quest(plays the "quest complete" sound)

Most quest issues can be fixed by performing some troubleshooting on the quest. Abandoning and re-taking the quest can fix issues with NPCs or quest progression. Note: abandoning a quest will cause all current progress to be lost.
Reset your user interface to make sure your files and addons are not corrupted.

yea that might be it, i usually dont finish all my weekly quests for example the weekly soul quest. could be that tbh ^^ i was only curious because it sounds more like a accepted/completed quest, instead of a abandoned or failed quest. ill check if this sound only happens on reset days or randomly. ty for the response and if it happens again ill try to disable all addons before i log off so i can see if its related to an addon.
Most phasing problems in Boralus, including issues with Taelia going missing, are caused by starting but not completing the questline to unlock the Kul Tiran allied race. If you have started or completed the quest Made in Kul Tiras but have not completed the entire questline, you must complete it to proceed. Taelia's phasing can also be affected by the story line Pride of Kul Tiras, which can prevent you from being able to hand in A New Dawn. To resolve the issue, finish the questline.

If you find any issue, please write it in the comments below, or send us an e-mail. Note that the tool will list quests that are still present in the game files but that can no longer be obtained. This can cause confusion, because many of these inactive quests have the same name as actual active quests. Please bear this in mind when reporting a problem :)
This tool is made by combining quest data from both WoWDB and Wowhead, before manually removing all obsolete/removed quests and flagging incorrectly flagged quests using quest descriptions, in-game testing, and common sense.
Now, you can check if there is still no sound in WoW. If so, you can select Uninstall from the Device Manager. Once uninstalled, you can restart your computer and the default audio driver will be automatically installed. 2ff7e9595c
